Free Plymouth conference and CPD event: Improving outcomes for EAL learners

Join us in Plymouth for an in-person conference dedicated to exploring the best ways to support outcomes for EAL both inside and outside the classroom.

Meet the speakers…

Lukasz Mlodziniak, EAL coordinator from Lipson Cooperative Academy is an experienced secondary school teacher and has many years of experience working with EAL students. He’s enjoys devising new strategies and methods to encourage a whole-school approach to EAL support. 

Kelly Dicks is Headteacher at Filton Hill Primary School and the one of the EAL Leads for the Olympus Academy Trust. She was previously Head of Primary at Bradley Stoke Community School (BSCS) and has successfully used Flash Academy in her schools for the past two years to support language learning and, in particular, learners who are new to the country. 

Emily Hunt is head of customer success at FlashAcademy®, a leading EAL assessment platform and learning app. With extensive experience supporting EAL education, she is passionate about improving outcomes for EAL learners and creating inclusive learning environments. Emily has worked with institutions nationwide to implement strategies that help EAL learners thrive, ensuring they feel a sense of belonging. A dynamic presenter, she uses data, research and real-world examples to empower educators with actionable strategies. A frequent speaker at education events, Emily is committed to promoting equity, opportunity and celebrating the achievements of multilingual students.
