FlashAcademy Case Study: Lander Automotive

Lander Automotive is a leading supplier of products in the Automotive Sector. They have employees from 19 different countries working in their state of art design and manufacturing facilities in Birmingham.

Anita Davenport-Brooks (HR Manager), and her team, share their experience of using FlashAcademy® to improve communication within their diverse team.

Why did you decide to start using FlashAcademy®?

“We have 19 different nationalities and languages which caused a challenge in making sure employees understand processes and health & safety. FlashAcademy® appealed to us because it helped us look at our procedures right back to induction.”

What do your staff think of the platform?

“It’s great. I can see they are very engaged. It has been very successful. It enables them to be more confident in communicating and getting their
message across.”

What has been the biggest change since implementing the platform?

“When things aren’t communicated properly, that can really impact on performances. FlashAcademy® has helped because it helps them communicate better, clearer and engage with their team members who
often speak another different language.”

What would you say to other companies considering FlashAcademy® Workplace to help with their language challenges?

“I think lots of different industries should consider FlashAcademy®. It
shows that you are truly thinking about people’s development.”
