We’re humbled: More awards for FlashAcademy®!

It has been an exciting year so far for the team at FlashAcademy®, who were thrilled to be named winners in the recent Learning Excellence Awards 2021.

In its’ debut ceremony, the Learning Excellence Awards saw national and international entries from businesses in the training, learning and development sector. Judges included executives from renowned businesses such as Barclays, BT, Nando’s, and many more.

Up against an impressive selection of finalists, FlashAcademy® came top spot to be crowned winners of the Digital Learning or E-Learning category, recognised for our  ‘innovative, excellent and effective initiatives in supporting schools with their EAL needs.

Moving away from the schools’ sector, FlashAcademy® is also seeing recognition following the launch of the Workplace platform at the start of 2021. The Midlands team of  BAM Construction ( a leading multi-national construction company) were delighted to win a national ‘Worker Involvement/Engagement’ award, following their work and progress with the FlashAcademy® Workplace  platform, which helps employers to accelerate English (ESOL) language skills for diverse workforces.

FlashAcademy® has also been recognised by several more prestigious awards, particularly for its efforts in going above and beyond to support vulnerable learners throughout the Coronavirus pandemic. Shortlists include BETT 2021 (Covid-19 Response Champions), Education Resources Awards 2021 (Outstanding Response during Covid-19), and The Innovation Awards 2021 (Tech Innovator of the Year) where winners will be announced 1ST July.

Recognising this success of 2021 so far, CEO Veejay Lingiah commented:

“All of the credit should go to the entire FlashAcademy® team, who have responded incredibly to the challenge of how we scale the technology to respond to the huge surge in demand over the last 12 months.  Learners without English as a first language have been some of the most disadvantaged during the pandemic and it has been hugely rewarding to see the impact of helping these learners to use technology to continue their English learning during such challenging circumstances, whether they are learners at a school, college or workplace.”
