Judges described FlashAcademy® as offering an excellent package supporting both learners and teachers to address a rising need in education at an affordable price but with a significant impact in education and on children’s experiences of school. Judges were very impressed with the opportunities this provides and the impact on reducing teachers’ workloads with the use of AI.

A breakthrough in EAL education technology
Our award submission focused on a major innovation in English as an Additional Language (EAL) provision: our AI-assisted marking for EAL assessments. This is just one example of how we are innovating and advancing EAL education technology.
We’re proud to be the first EAL platform to introduce AI-assisted assessment marking, helping schools drastically reduce the time teachers spend marking, without compromising on rigour or quality. One pilot school reported completing 17 assessments in just 26 minutes using our AI tool – work that would traditionally take hours.
Teachers using the feature say it’s allowing them to deliver faster, more personalised feedback and to identify where students need targeted support.
