Celebrating The Hamilton International School’s success as a Tes Awards finalist for Best Use of Technology

FlashAcademy® is proud to celebrate the news that The Hamilton International School, an ISP school in Qatar, has been shortlisted for Best Use of Technology in the Tes Awards for International Schools 2025.

This recognition highlights the school’s thoughtful, purposeful approach to using technology to strengthen outcomes for multilingual learners. As part of ISP’s strategic partnership with FlashAcademy®, The Hamilton International School has embedded digital EAL assessment and learning tools to support pupils’ progress and confidence in English.

Across ISP’s pilot programme, more than 2,500 students in 30+ schools and LabSchools completed over 4,000 lessons, logging 1,200 learning hours. Eighty per cent of students who completed three assessments improved by at least one proficiency band, double the industry benchmark. The Hamilton International School stands out within this group, achieving a 75.3% engagement rate and demonstrating how consistent, high-quality implementation can translate into meaningful gains for learners.

This shortlisting also builds on the school’s recent ‘exemplary’ accreditation in multilingualism from the Bell Foundation, recognising its sustained commitment to high-impact EAL provision.

Veejay Lingiah, CEO of FlashAcademy®, said: “It’s a privilege to collaborate with educators at The Hamilton International School in Qatar who share such a clear vision for purposeful, inclusive use of technology. Their success with FlashAcademy® captures what’s possible when innovation, teacher insight and ethical AI come together to deliver measurable progress for every learner.”

We wish The Hamilton International School the very best of luck ahead of the awards ceremony on 9 December.
