Update (16 June 2026): Following our shortlisting earlier this year, we are delighted to announce that FlashAcademy® has been named Innovator of the Year at the 2026 EdTechX Awards.
This award recognises companies making a substantial impact on the transformation of education, training and work.
Powered by IBIS Capital, the EdTechX Awards celebrate organisations from across the global education technology sector that are driving meaningful innovation and measurable outcomes for learners and educators. Winners were announced at the EdTechX Summit on 16 June 2026 at County Hall, London.
FlashAcademy® is a multilingual intelligence platform that has been used by more than 1,600 institutions across over 30 countries and supported more than 700,000 learners across 48 home languages. The platform brings together digital English language assessment, AI-assisted marking, personalised learning pathways and group-level reporting within a single end-to-end system.
In UK schools, FlashAcademy® helps primary and secondary settings identify language needs, track progress and support multilingual pupils to access the curriculum with confidence. Across Multi-Academy Trusts and international school groups, the platform provides consistent assessment practices and strategic visibility of multilingual learners at group level.
The Innovator of the Year award recognises organisations that are delivering meaningful advances in education through technology and demonstrating significant impact for learners and institutions.
