Free Webinar: Supporting Refugee Learners with the British Red Cross
Refugee learner’s needs may be like those of any migrant child or young person, such as language differences and culture shock, but it is also important to remember that some may have arrived from a background of traumatic experiences or may have had no formal schooling prior to arrival.

- Experiences and needs of asylum seeker children and young people, exploring the impacts of financial support, mental health, immigration status, etc. on their engagement in education
- Supporting unaccompanied minors and illiterate adults
- Strategies schools and colleges can implement today to help refugee pupils access the curriculum and overcome challenges
